1. GENERAL

1.1 Your access to and use of Meat & Livestock Australia Limited’s (MLA) Australian Red Meat Exporter’s Database and associated website (Database) is subject to these terms and any additional terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers which appear on this website (Terms of Use).

1.2 MLA may alter these Terms of Use from time to time without notice. Your continued use of the Database following those changes indicates your acceptance of those changes. 

2. DISCLAIMERS

Care is taken to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in the Database. However, MLA cannot accept responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of the information contained in the Database. The Database is provided solely for your convenience and does not indicate, expressly or impliedly, any endorsement by MLA (or its affiliates) of any company or their products or services. You should make your own enquiries before making decisions concerning your interests.

3.1 This site contains links to third party sites. MLA is not responsible for the condition or the content of those sites.

3.2 The links are provided solely for your convenience and do not indicate, expressly or impliedly, any endorsement of the sites or the products or services provided in them.

4. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

MLA may make a record of your visit and log your visit for statistical and business purposes. Such information may include your server address, domain name, IP address, the date and time of your visit, pages accessed, previous site visited and the type of browser used.

5. PROVISION OF INFORMATION BY YOU [EXPORTERS ONLY]

5.1 If you are an exporter requesting the inclusion of your company’s details in the Database, MLA

requires you to complete an electronic application form. In doing so it requires you to enter information about your company, its product and services. The information you provide may also include personal information. MLA will only use this information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

5.2 To the extent that you have provided information which may personally identify another individual, you warrant that you have notified the relevant individual that his/her information has been provided to MLA and will be handled by MLA in accordance with MLA’s Privacy Policy.

5.3 Information entered by you must not include content that is obscene, violent, discriminatory, unlawful, racially or ethnically offensive, libellous or harassing in nature.

5.4 At the sole discretion of MLA, any application which is deemed to violate these Terms of Use will be rejected from entry in the Database.

5. UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION [EXPORTERS ONLY]

5.1 MLA will take reasonable steps to validate the information it holds on the Database.

5.2 You must promptly notify MLA in writing if there are any changes to your information held on the Database. On request, MLA will take reasonable steps to correct the information so that it is accurate, complete and up to date, or will provide reasons for not doing so.

6. SECURITY

MLA uses security measures with the aim of keeping the Database secure. However, MLA makes no warranty in respect of its security measures and is not responsible for any misuse, loss or unauthorised access to, modification or disclosure of information in the Database.

7. COPYRIGHT

7.1 MLA reserves all copyright in the content and design of the Database.

7.2 You may make a temporary copy of a Database record for the sole purpose of viewing it, and print a copy for personal use.

7.3 You must not otherwise reproduce, adapt, store, transmit, print, display, publish or create derivative works from any part of the content or design of the Database (for personal or commercial purposes) except with MLA's prior written consent or as permitted by applicable copyright legislation.

8. COOKIES

8.1 This website uses "cookie" technology to assist in identifying users. Cookies are pieces of information stored on an individual's computer and are used for customising site information to improve user experience and for tracking user navigation.

9. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

MLA may suspend temporarily or cease operating the Database at any time.
